I am very familiar with the PRB and the series was full of inaccuracies. I know that this type of series (the Tudors being another example) is made purely for the entertainment of the modern (young) audience, including modern-day language and behaviour and, of course, gratuitous sex, but as a PRB fan I found it lacking in substance. The good points were: the “stunners” were absolutely stunning and Samuel Barnett even prettier. Disappointing. I am very familiar with the PRB and the series was full of inaccuracies. The real Hunt, Millais and Rossetti bear little resemblance to these characters. By totally ignoring all of the other original founder members of the Brotherhood, and making one up, you show a distorted view of their ideals. The series "The Love School" told the story far better.
